The Adams Rite 4568-501-121 Flat Euro Lever Trim without return is designed for operation of 4700 series deadlatches, except for the 4750, and MS 1890 latch/deadlock. It complies with European standards, and is designed for use on aluminum doors. The material is cast aluminum with a steel mounting base. A simple downward motion retracts the latchbolt. The spindle is 6.35mm (1/4") on the diamond and heat treated. It interlocks with the cam plug and suits 44.45mm (1-3/4") door thickness. The cam plug is rigidly fixed to the handle escutcheon by hardened steel pins.
Exceptions: When used with MS 1890 deadlock, the 4580 cam plug is omitted and the spindle is extended to 22mm. The cam plug included with 4700 makes the lever handed.
