Spring hinges are used on openings where self-closing is required. These hinges can be ideal when the door, frame, or wall conditions restrict the ability to have a door closer. Ives three knuckle spring hinges are designed for doors with maximum weight of 120lbs and maximum width of 36". Use on hollow metal or wood doors. Certified ANSI/BHMA A156.1, our Ives 3SP1 hinge is available in steel, and stainless steel substrates in a broad range of finishes. Ives 3SP1 hinges are packed standard with hollow metal and half wood/half metal applications. Included is also a pin for setting spring tension and an adjusting wrench.
