Many file cabinets come without locks, and those with locks can be easily compromised. Security Locking Bars from HPC add a substantial level of security to steel or wood cabinets. They are designed for use on 4- or 5-drawer file cabinets, and can also be used on cabinets for blue prints, tools, as well as other applications. The Security Locking Bars include all necessary hardware for easy on-site installation. They are made of heavy-duty 0.5" x 1.5" (1.25 x 3.75cm) channel steel, finished in a neutral sand color. The hole in the hasp is 5/16" (7.95mm). A padlock is required.
